Vocal modes
Lyse core
CORE is LYSE'S default vocal mode, meant to reproduce valshamr's natural singing voice. Elegant and mellow, with an airy high range - a versatile vocal mode that will suit a broad range of genres!
Lyse Cute
CUTE is a youthful vocal mode with a playful tone, whose consistency and energy will capture your heart. This mode is best for J-Pop with a cutesy aesthetic, as well as EDM or hyperpop.
Lyse Soft
SOFT is a smoother counterpart to the CORE vocal mode. Elegance and mellowness are kept and refined with a softer touch in the high range. Able to sound both melancholic or warm depending on usage, it's most suited for ballads and acoustic songs.
LYSE Sweet
SWEET is a sugary mode that has similar power to the CORE vocal mode while offering a kinder tone. Its warm and lively highs will pop making it perfect for energetic love songs as well as softer ballads.
Lyse Dark
DARK encapsulates a melancholic and thoughtful vocal mode with a curt pronunciation. The mystifying low tones are enchanting, but can as easily convey a certain detachedness. This mode's somber tone makes it perfect for achieving a creepy atmosphere but sounds great on other genres.
Lyse Solid
SOLID is a powerful expansion on LYSE'S CORE vocal mode. A fierced and determined tone exuding confidence is key to this mode that has a later switching point to head voice compared to other vocal modes. The tone of this vocal mode is most suited to empower emotional choruses or stand out with strength atop a heavy instrumental.

What is Millefeuille?
Millefeuille is a French phonetic system created by imsupposedto and UFR for the DiffSinger technology, that allows the creation of virtual singers using artificial intelligence. It enables a high fidelity reproduction of the original voice, similar to what Synthesizer V can offer. Thanks to its integration into OpenUTAU, DiffSingers can be described as UTAU AI: they are not a voice modifier overlayed over existing vocals, but a fully controllable vocal synthesizer
UFR offers many other voices compatible with Millefeuille as well as pre-made files to test LYSE and the French language for Diffsinger. The project is currently in its beta phase, any feedback is welcome; and anyone is invited to contribute to the improvement of LYSE and Millefeuille.
